Section 12: System Maintenance
If additional Diolaze, DiolazeXL or Lumecca Handpieces are present, connect
each Handpiece and repeat steps 6 to14. Ensure the water level is checked
periodically.
Draining Water for Diolaze, DiolazeXL and Lumecca
For shipping and storage, the InMode systems and Handpieces must be drained of
water during freezing temperature. Failure to do so will void the service warranty.
Frozen water in the system and Handpiece hoses can lead to damages.
Open the back cover and take out the bottle.
Unscrew the water bottle cap and slowly remove it from the bottle (Figure
-8).

Empty the Bottle.
Place the Bottle inside the Chamber with the black hose outside the Bottle
(Figure -9).
Connect any Diolaze, DiolazeXL or Lumecca Handpiece.
Turn the System On.
Select “Utilities” on the Main Menu (Figure -4Figure -4).
Select “Water Drain/Fill” (Figure -5).
Pressing the Up arrow will activate the Pump and count down from 600
seconds (10 minutes) to 0 seconds (Figure -6).
Pressing the Down arrow will stop the Water Pump.
Repeat Steps 5 to 9 for draining any remaining IPL/laser Handpiece.
