MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
1. MANDATORY WARRANTY
IPO Technik-Handels GmbH grants a warranty to all customers for all welding machines and/or plasma cutters
purchased directly from IPO Technik-Handels GmbH of the IPOTOOLS brand.
All devices are subject to a 2-year statutory warranty from the invoice date under the warranty conditions below and
if it is not due to incorrect or careless handling by the customer.
Warranty Conditions
The warranty and service are valid only with the invoice.

The guarantee has to be claimed against the guarantor.

The guarantee applies equally to entrepreneurs and consumers

The guarantee is valid in the area of the EU member states.
2. ADDITIONAL MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
For equipment delivered on or after April 29th, 2021, in addition to the statutory claims for defects under the German
Civil Code (BGB), a 7-year durability guarantee as defined in § 443 of the German Civil Code (BGB) applies in
accordance with the warranty conditions below. For devices that have been delivered by IPO Technik-Handels
GmbH until 29.04.2021, the previous warranty of 2 years applies.
After 2 years, you still get the 5-year guarantee, which relates to the components defined under point 2 “Technical
Scope”.
The warranty refers to components which are inside the device, especially the circuit board and the inverter. It does
not include the housing, the components of the housing as well as connections, ground cables and hose packages.
It also does not cover the accessories and wearing parts supplied.
2.1. Material Scope of Application
The seven-year warranty applies only to electronic welding machines and plasma cutters of the IPOTOOLS brand,
which were delivered by IPO Technik-Handels GmbH on or after April 29th, 2021. The warranty does not apply to
equipment sold as B-goods or used equipment.
2.2. Technical Scope
The warranty covers the components located in the housing of the device, in particular the circuit board and the
inverter. It does not cover the housing, the components of the housing, the LCD display as well as connections,
ground cables, electrode holders and hose packages. It also does not include the accessories and wearing parts
supplied.
2.3. Contents of the Warranty Claim
The warranty grants a right to free repair of any damaged parts covered by the warranty.
