7.3 Warranty Service
If your QuietPower Inverter requires service, please return it to Iris Technology directly. Contact
Iris before returning your unit to obtain an RMA number and to verify shipping information.

You must obtain a Return Material Authorization number (RMA) from Iris Technology before
sending the QuietPower Inverter for service. When you contact Iris Technology to obtain
service, be prepared to supply the serial number of your QuietPower Inverter and date of
purchase and contract information (if available).
If you are returning the unit from the USA, follow this procedure:
1. Contact Iris Technology with the following information:
1.1. Equipment Type
1.2. Equipment serial number
1.3. Identify what is wrong with the equipment
1.4. Provide a Point-of-Contact (POC) with phone number and email
1.5. Provide an Alternate Point-of-Contact (POC) with phone number and email
1.6. Provide an address for return shipment of equipment
2. You will then receive a Return Material Authorization number from Iris Technology.
3. Package the unit safely, preferably using the original box and packing materials. Include the
RMA number, a return address where the repaired unit can be shipped, a contact telephone
number, and a brief description of the problem.
4. Ship the unit to Iris Technology, freight prepaid and provide tracking information to Iris
Technology once the equipment is in transit.
5. Once the unit has been evaluated, you will be contacted regarding disposition
6. Iris Technology will contact you with return shipment tracking information
If you are returning the unit from outside the USA additional procedures may apply. Please
contact Iris Technology for coordinating information.
