BEFORE STARTING
THE ENGINE
INSPECTION OF ENGINE all lEVEL
• Remove the oil filler cap and wipe
clean the end of the dipstick.
• Insert the dipstick without screwing in
the cap and check the oil level.
• Make sure that the level is between the
upper
and lower limits.
•
When the level is near the lower limit,
add oil up to the upper limit.
Important:
Avoid exceeding the upper
limit, or it
may causeenginetrouble.
SUPPLYING ENGINE all
• Remove the oil filler cap and supply
oil to the upper limit.
Recommended SAE30 or
engine oil: SAE10W-30
Capacity:

• Oterle bouchon de I'orificede remplis-
sageet essuyerI'extremite de la jauge.
• Remettre le bouchon sans le visser et
verifier le niveau
d'huile sur la jauge.
• Veiller
ace que le niveau se situe entre
les limites inferieures et superieures
marquees sur la jauge.
• Lorsque le niveau est proche de la li-
mite inferieure,
completer jusqu'a at-
teindre la limite
superieure,

Tighten thefiller capsecurely byhand,
as a loosecapmay cause
oil leakage.
• When the engine oil is dirty or discol-
oured, replace with fresh oil. (As for
the oil change intervals and method,
refer to "MAINTENANCEOF
EACH
PART" on page 40.)
Note:
Use ISEKI's recommended
oil or an
oil of SE classor highergradeaccord-
ing to API classifications. Use an
oil
of appropriate viscosity according to
theatmospheric temperature.
