Servicethemachineinaccordancewith
the instructions mentioned below be-
forestoringthemachineforalongtime.
ENGINE
1. Drain the fuel out of the fuel tank and
carburetor.
HOW
TO
DRAIN
THE
FUEL
a. Disconnectthefuel hose from the fuel
cock and drain the fuel from the fuel
tank. (Referto page 48)
b. Drain thefuel out of the carburetorby
looseningthe drainbolt.
c. After draining the fuel, re-connect the
fuelhosetothecarburetorandre-tighten
thecarburetordrainbolt. Then turn the
fuel cock to the CLOSEposition
(5).

Caution:
- Gasoline isveryflammable
and
explo-
sive. Avoid smoking
and
never allow
open flame or sparks around the ma-
chine.
- Select a well-ventilated place
for
this
operation.
- Drained
fuel
should be kept in a safe
container and stored in a safe place.
2. Change the engine oil (Refer to page
40).
3. Cleantheaircleaner(Refer
topage42).
4. Removethesparkplug andapplyafew
dropsoffreshengineoil into thecylin-
der.Thentum theengineseveraltimes
by pulling the starterrope to lubricate
the cylinderbore sufficiently.

IMMOBILISATION
PROLONGEE
Avant une immobilisation de longue
duree, effectuer les operations suivan-
tes:
MOTEUR
1. Vider le reservoir et le carburateurdu
carburantqu'ils contiennent.
VIDANGE
DU
CARBURANT
a. Debrancherle tuyau de carburateurdu
robinet,etvider
lereservoir.(Voirp.48).
b. Vider
le carburateurde son essenceen
devissant le bouchonde purge.
c. Apres vidange,rebrancher le tuyaude
carburant et resserrer
le bouchon de
purgeducarburateur.Fermerensuite
le
robinet d'essence.

Attention:
- L'essence est tres inflammable. Ne
jamais
fumer
ou provoquerd'etincel-
les aproximite.
- Choisir un local bien ventilepourpra-
tiquer cette operation.
- Le carburant vidange doit etre con-
serve dans un recipient adequat et
conserve dans un endroit presentant
toutes les conditions de securlte.
2. Changer1'huile moteur(sereporterala
page 40).
3. Nettoyer le filtre
a air (se reporter a la
page 42).
4. Oter la bougie et laisser tomber quel-
ques gouttes d'huile moteur dans Ie
cylindre. Faire ensuite toumer le mo-
teurplusieursfoisentirantsurlapoignee
du lanceur pour lubrifier la paroi du
cylindre.
