INSPECTION OF THE COllECTOR
• Check the collector for clogging.
• Check for fraying and tearing.
• Make sure that collector is installed
securely.

Caution:
A torn or frayed bag may allow the
collected grass to scatter outside, which
is very dangerous. Therefore, such a
bagshouldbe
replaced withanewone
at
once.

DEMARRAGE

(2) Fuel cock / Robinet d'essence

1. Tum the fuel cock to the OPEN posi-
tion
(0).
2. Tum the throttle lever to the CHOKE
position
(lSI). [When the engine is
warm, start it in the
HIGH position
(~).]
3. Hold the mower securely by placing
your foot on the step and pull the starter
rope until some resistance is felt
and
then pull the rope briskly.
Important:
Never snap back the starter rope, or
the starter mechanism
may be dam-
aged. Return the rope slowly by hand.
Never manipulate the starter during
operation, or the engine may be af-
fected.
1. Ouvrir le robinet d'essence (0).
2. Amenerle levierde commandedes gaz
sur la position STARTER
(lSI) si le
moteur est froid, ou sur la position
ACCELERE
(~) si Ie moteur est
deja chaud.
3. Maintenirla tondeuseen placantle pied
sur le carter de lame,
aI'emplacement
prevu
a cet effet. Tirerdoucementsur la
poignee du lanceur
jusqu'a sentir une
resistance, puis tirer
d'un coup sec.
(Type E et BE)
Important:
Nepas relacher brutalement lapoignee
du lanceur apres
l' avoir tiree, mais la
laisser revenir en accompagnant Ie
mouvement afin de ne pas abimer Ie
mecanisme du lanceur. Ne pas toucher
au lanceur moteur tournant.
