CUTTING
HEIGHT
ADJUSTMENT
The cutting height can be adjusted in 6
steps [from I". (25 mm) to 3.5" (89
mm)] by manipulating the
cutting
height adjustors. An adjustor is in-
stalled on each of thefour wheels. Each
adjustor can be manipulated independ-
ently from those of other wheels.

Put
a protective cloth on the housing,
wear
thick gloves,
and
lift
up the
mower a little.
b. Turn the lever to the required position
while pulling the lever outwards so
that it is securely seatedin the adjustor
guide.
c. Adjust all four wheels to the same
height.

Stop the engine without fail before
adjustment.
- Avoidtouching the mufflerjust after
operation as it is very hot and may
causeburns.
Note:
When
mowing
tall
grass,
start with a
high
cutting
height.
Then
lower the
heightstepby
step.

LEVER
The travelling speed shouldbe selected
according to the operator's walking
speed and the condition
of
the grass to
be mowed:

for low speed and "2"
for high speed.
