• When
mowing
under
trees
or
beside
walls,
operate
the
mower
only
with the
blade-
brake-clutch
engaged

engaging

travel-clutch.

• As the
cutter
blade

turning
while

engine
is in
operation,
push the
mower
without
manipulating
the
travel-clutch
le-
ver.

Caution:
Pushthe
mower
slowly
and carefully
paying
attention
tothe
position
of
your
feet. Never run
while
pushing the
mower
to avoid
injury.
Mowing without collecting grass can
be performedsimply by removingthe
collector.

cover
in
position
withoutfail.

Operation

a
collector
on
grass
which
is
scattered
with
obstacles
such
as
pebbles,
twigs,
etc.
is
very

ous.
Such
obstacles

should walk along the
right-hand
side
of
the
mower.
- Be sure to stop the engine
before
opening
the
discharge
cover.

MOWING

A
SLOPE
• When mowing on a slope, move the
mower laterally to the slope. Never
operatealongthe slope.
• Sufficient care should be taken when

• Operatethe mowerat sufficientlylow
speeds.
• Never use the mowertilted more than
30° in any direction.
