LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service or maintenance can cause injury or property damage. Refer
to manual. For assistance or additional information consult a qualifi
ed installer, service agency or the gas supplier.
FOR YOUR SAFETY
Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
1.
Simplyfl ip the receiver switch to the "OFF" position when manualy operated. The gas ow will cease, and all the ames (main burner
and pilot) will go out.
2.
For remote operation, press the "OFF" button on the remote.
1. STOP! Read the safety information on the other
side.
2. Tu rn "OFF" any electrical appliance
3. When operated with remote system ip the
receiver control to the "Remote" position, and
turn unit "ON" and "OFF" by using the remote
transmitter.
4.Flip the receiver switch to the "ON" position when
manualy operated. This transmits a rapid series
of sparks at the pilot head and will ignite the gas.
Sparks cease when the pilot ame is lit and
stable. after a short time, the pilot will then light
the main burner.
CAUTION: IF THE BURNER DOES NOT IG-
NITE WITHIN 20 SECOUNDS, STOP WAIT 5
MINUTES, THEN REPEAT STEPS 2. THRU 4.
ABOVE.
Normally, the pilot should remain lit. If it goes
out, repeat step 3 or 4.
If the pilot will not stay lit after several tries, turn
the wall switch to OFF (Fig.3) and call serivce
technician or gas supplier.
Periodically check the pilot for proper ame pat-
tern (Fig. 1)
