7 OPERATION
If your machine is equipped with a base (fig.1, n°9) (optional), the braked castors must be locked
when the machine is in operation (fig.1, n°10).
Switch on the power to the machine at the start of the day using the emergency stop (fig.1,
n°5).
For machines equipped with a digital display (fig.6) (MRK – MRF – MRL ETL), press the green
power on button (fig.6, n°26).
Operating procedure (fig.5)
For machines fitted with a rear cover (fig.1, n°1 & fig.2, n°20) (MRP – MRK – MRF – MRP ETL-
MRQ).
A. Place the loaf on the rear table, between the blades and the moving section.
B. Close the rear cover. Doing this will start the machine.
C. Once the cutting process has finished, retrieve the sliced loaf from the front of the machine.
The rear cover will open. If your machine is equipped with a JACFIX (optional), this system
holds the loaf together once cut. Remove the loaf upwards to release it from the JACFIX.
For machines fitted with a photoelectric cell light curtain (optional) (fig.2, no.16) (MRL – MRM).
A. Place the loaf on the rear table, between the blades and the moving section.
B. The cutting cycle starts automatically after the bread has been placed on the table, as soon as
the operator’s hand is no longer detected.
C. Once the cutting process has finished, retrieve the sliced loaf from the front of the machine. If
your machine is equipped with a JACFIX (optional), this system holds the loaf together once
cut. Remove the loaf upwards to release it from the JACFIX.
For machines fitted with a photoelectric cell (optional) (fig.2, no.19) (MRL ETL).
A. Place the loaf on the rear table, between the blades and the moving section.
B. Press the button (fig.6, n°26) to start the cutting process.
C. Once the cutting process has finished, retrieve the sliced loaf from the front of the machine. If
your machine is equipped with a JACFIX (optional), this system holds the loaf together once
cut. Remove the loaf upwards to release it from the JACFIX.
At the end of the day, for machines equipped with a digital display (MRK – MRF – MRL ETL), press
the yellow safety power off button (fig.6, n°28). Press the red emergency stop button (fig.1, n°5) to
switch off the power to the machine.
Tip: Have a qualified individual check blade tension after the first few days of operation.
Capacity: Number of loaves sliced per day: 6,000 (depending on the type of bread).
