The s ewing machine should always be lubricated and
the oil su
pp ly replenished before it is used for the first
time,
and also after l ong periods of non-use.
Use only the lubricati
ng o il (Nisseki Mitsubishi se w-
ing Lube I
SN ; VG 15) specified by our company.
I. Open the front coverO , remove the rubber plug@ ,
and
then fill with oil until the oil l evel reaches the
point in between the reference lines on the oil gauge
8 . If the oil l eve l drops to the l ower reference line,
be sure to add more oil.
2.
In se rt the rubber plug 8 and then close the front
cove rQ .
3. Add 1 -2 drops of oil once a week to n ee dle bar br-
acket lubrication
ho le O .
4. Periodically loosen the oil drain sc rew0 to drain
out any oil which collects in the front bed oil sump.
