9. To completely flush the old water from the plumbing lines: allow fresh water to fill into
the foot-well area while the old water connues to be pumped out. Always keep at least
10cm (4 in.) of water in the foot-well so that pump 1 remains primed.
10. When the water from the drain hose turns clear (indicang fresh fill water), flush is
complete.
9. Turn OFF the filtraon pump.
10. Close the drain-hose bib on the swim spa plumbing line and
connue filling swim spa with fresh water.
9. Place cover on swim spa (to avoid splash-out).
10. Open filtraon pump return gate valve.
11. Press any buon on the topside control panel (other than the
pump 1 buon) to take the system out of STANDBY/DRAIN ASSIST mode. Filtraon
pump and the heater will
acvate to circulate and heat the water while filling connues. This also reduces the
possibility of an airlock occurring.
9. Connue adding fresh fill water unl level is approximately 19mm (3/4 in.) from the top
of the skimmer opening.
13.4 Cleaning the Swim Spa Interior
To preserve the sheen of your swim spa’s surface, it is crucial that you avoid using abrasive
cleaners or cleaners which have adverse chemical effect on the surface. If you are not certain
as to the suitability of a parcular cleanser, consult your authorized Jacuzzi® dealer. We
recommend using Jacuzzi® Spa All Purpose Cleaner to clean the swim spa’s interior surface.
Use extreme care to assure that no soap residue is le on the surface. This could cause severe
sudsing when the swim spa is refilled.
13.5 Pillow Care
Clean the headrests in your swim spa as needed by wiping them with a cloth with soapy
water. It is not necessary to remove the headrests for cleaning. To remove headrests for long
term storage or replacement, grasp both ends of each headrest and gently pull inward
towards the center of the swim spa. To reinstall, over mounng strip and press down unl
headrest mounng bracket emits a “click” sound. Then adjust the headrest height by simply
moving up or down as desired.
