13.9 Winterizing
Your Jacuzzi® swim spa is designed to automacally protect itself against freezing when
operang properly. During periods of severe freezing temperatures, you should check
periodically to be certain that the electrical supply to the spa has not been interrupted. In
extreme, bier cold weather (less than 32
o
F) we recommend that the circulaon pump is set
for 24-Hour operaon and that the auto-heang is selected to protect against damage to the
swim spa.
If you do not intend to use your swim spa, or if there is a prolonged power outage during
periods of severe freezing temperatures, it is important that all water be removed from the
swim spa and equipment to protect against damage from freezing.
Expert winterizaon of your swim spa is highly recommended; contact your authorized
Jacuzzi® dealer. In emergency situaons, taking the following steps can minimize damage.

water out of the recessed seang areas and into the footwell, such as a wet / dry
vacuum.
