14.3 Other Addives
Many other addives are available for your swim spa. Some are necessary to compensate for
out of balance water, some aid in cosmec water treatment and others simply alter the feel
or smell of the water. With our chemical products your authorized Jacuzzi® dealer can advise
you on the use of these addives.
14.4 CLEARRAY® ACTIVE OXYGEN Water Management System
CLEARRAY® ACTIVE OXYGEN Water Management System is exclusive technology ulizing
Natural ultraviolet technology to eliminate waterborne bacteria, viruses and algae in swim
spas. The ultraviolet light otherwise known as UV-C or germicidal light inacvates the
microorganisms disrupng the DNA so that it cannot reproduce and is considered lifeless.
CLEARRAY® ACTIVE OXYGEN is plumbed in-line with your filtraon system. Aer the water is
drawn from the pump, filter and heater it is directed through the CLEARRAY® ACTIVE OXYGEN
system. Water passes through an ultraviolet light energy that treats and disinfects the water.
The water is then pumped back into the swim spa giving you crystal clear water instantly. The
system has a ballast that is the power supply for the purificaon system; it has two LED
indicator lights. The “Power On” (red color) indicang incoming power flow and the “Lamp
On” (green color) indicang the system is properly working. CLEARRAY® ACTIVE OXYGEN is
standard on all models.
Aer a year the bulb must be replaced. If the CLEARRAY® ACTIVE OXYGEN mer has been
programmed correctly a message will appear on the LCD display when the me alloed has
expired. In
15.0 Error / Display Messages
There are a number of unique funcons designed into your Jacuzzi® swim spa to protect it
from damage and / or to aid in troubleshoong. When this occurs the swim spa will nofy you
by showing the screen below, Figure 14.0a. A solid white light indicates that all operaons are
normal. A solid red light indicates that immediate aenon is required to clear or fix an error
code. Following is a list of all the possible messages along with their meanings. Always insist
on genuine Jacuzzi® replacement parts.
Note: if you tap “X” the display will change to Figure 14.0b. The error icon will remain on the
screen as a reminder. If the error is not taken care of or fixed, the error display will reappear
in 2 hours, Figure 14.0a.
