Interfaces
The UMG604 has 4 serial interfaces:
- RS485
- RS232
- Ethernet (optional)
- Profibus (optional)
All interfaces can be used simultaneously.
RS232
The following data must be programmed for
use of the RS232 interface:
- Baud rate,
- Operating mode.
Refer to the parameter list in the Appendix
for the default factory setting and the setting
ranges.

1 = default factory setting
RS485
The following data must be programmed for
use of the RS485 interface:
- Device address,
- Baud rate,
- Operating mode.
