CAUTION: Do not set the stitch width less than 5
when using the overedge foot to prevent
the needle from hitting the wires on the
foot.
This stitch overcast and seam the raw edge at the
same time, it prevents fraying.

This stitch is used to finish a raw edge of synthetics
and other stretch fabrics that tend to pucker.
Sew along the fabric edge leaving an enough seam
allowance.
After sewing, trim off the seam allowance close to the
stitches as shown.
