q Stitch pattern: 01 or 04
w Thread tension dial: 3 to 6
e Presser foot: 1/4” seam foot O
Put the patchwork pieces right sides together and place
them on the needle plate.
Align the right edge of fabric with the guide of the 1/4”
seam foot and angled edge with the relative angle scale;
45 degrees for Lemon Star piecing.

Lower the presser foot and start sewing.
Guide the fabric edge along the guide of the foot while
sewing.

Seam patchwork pieces with right sides together (see
above).
Open seam allowance and press the fabrics flat.
Sew stitch pattern on the right side of the fabric
centering over the seam line.
