Whensewingseverallayersorthickfabrics,thepresser
footcanberaisedasecondstageforeasypositioning
ofthework.(A)
Thepresserfootpressureofthemachinehasbeenpre-
setandrequiresnoparticularreadjustmentaccording
tothetypeoffabric(lightorheavyweight).
However, if you need to adjust the presser foot
pressure,turnthepresserfootpressuredialasshown
above.
For sewing very thin fabric, loosen the pressure by
turning the dial counter clockwise, and for heavy
fabric,tightenbyturningitclockwise.
