The density of zig-zag stitches increases as the
settingofstitchlengthdialapproaches“0”.Neatzig-
zagstitchesareusuallyachievedat“2.5”orbelow.(2)
Satin stitch
Whenthestitchlengthissetbetween“0”-“1”,the
stitchesareveryclosetogetherproducingthe“satin
stitch” which is used for making buttonholes and
decorativestitches.
