Total length of the SLC loop pair cannot exceed 10,000 feet (12 AWG).
DC resistance of the loop pair cannot exceed 40 ohms. Measure the loop
pair by completing the following steps:
1. Disconnect Loop Out and Return at the control panel.
2. Short the two leads of Loop Return.
3. Meter Loop Out as shown in Figure 9.
