Hardware Installation—IFC-200 Hardware Installation Procedures 35
The B501BJ/B50BH bases provide the connection between the IFC-200
SLC and 2551J, 1551J, and 5551J intelligent detectors.
1. Connect the SLC to terminal 1 (-) and terminal 2 (+) on the B501BJ.
2. If employing an RA-400Z Remote LED Annunciator, connect the
RA-400Z positive terminal to B501BJ terminal 3 and the negative
terminal to B50BH terminal 1.
3. Before installing the appropriate intelligent detector head, set the
detector’s SLC address on the head with a small slotted screwdriver.
Mark this address on the base and on the head.
