Wire Requirements
Each of the various types of circuits within an IFC-200 Fire Control
System has a specific type of wire that must be used in order to ensure
proper operation. In addition, the wire gauge of a particular circuit is
contingent on the length of that circuit. Use the table below to determine
the specific wiring requirements for each circuit.
Note: If the SLC loop is run in conduit with indicating appliance circuits,
employ only electronic sounders, such as the MA/SS-24. This
greatly reduces the risk of encountering problems caused by using
more electronically noisy indicating appliances, such as electro-
mechanical bells or horns.
