7 Testing Procedure
Connected equipment may be tested in two ways:
1) Using ordinary input from the Log Sig.Processor and the ROT gyro (optional), either during
normal operation or using internal test modes to produce a known Log ESig.Processor output.
For setting these test modes, please consult the operating/installation manuals for the speed log
and ROT gyro.
2) Using simulated NMEA input, self-generated by the Sig. Distributor. For setting these
modes, please see Menu T. Only equipment connected to the output can be tested.
