[SLC1] tab/[SLC2] tab 
[Setting a serial port on SLC] 
Set a serial port on the SLC that is installed as follows. 
 
CH1 to CH8  1.  Select the [SLC1] tab or the [SLC2] tab.   
2.   Enable the serial port of the channel by selecting the 
check box. 
3.   Select a sensor

 to be connected to the channel on 
the [Sensor] combo box. When not selecting a

To disable: Clear. 
CH9/CH10  1.   Click on the [SLC1] tab or the [SLC2] tab.   
2.   Enable the serial port of the channel by selecting the

3.   Select a sensor

 The sensors that can be selected on SLC are indicated below. 
However, the sensors that can be selected actually vary depending on the installation setting.   
AUTO, Heading Sensor 1, Heading Sensor 2, Log 1, Log 2, GPS 1, GPS 2, GPS 3, GPS 4, Ship’s 
Clock, Echo Sounder 1, Echo Sounder 2, AIS, NAVTEX, Anemometer, Water Temperature Metre, 
Current Metre, Climate Metre, ROT Indicator, Rudder, RADAR1(TT RX), RADAR2(TT RX), Alert(to 
BNWAS), GPS Buoy, WPT(from Plotter)
