3.5 Parts to Be Replaced Regularly
3.5.1 List of parts to be replaced regularly

Note: The time for replacing each part described above is a guideline to be applied
when the tape feeder feeds a component 5 million times a year. Therefore, it
varies depending on the use conditions.
3.5.2 How to replace a part that is to be replaced regularly
1) Required tools
Phillips-head screwdriver (No. 1, No. 2)
Flat-blade screwdriver (5 × 0.7 mm, 6 × 0.9 mm)
Hexagonal wrench (diagonal side: 1.5 mm, 2 mm)
Wrench (No. 8)
A pair of tweezers
Torque driver (5N·m scale, Minus bit 6 × 0.9 mm)
Tension gauge (19.6 N (2 kgf) scale)
Feeler gauge (Thickness tape or feeler gauge) Thickness 0.5 mm, 0.1 mm
Protractor
Air gun
2) Replacing the deliver roller assembly
① Remove the rewinding spring.
② Remove the setscrew of the deliver roller, and pull out the deliver roller shaft.
③ To remove the delivery roller, grip the oscillating arm spring hook and incline the
oscillating arm diagonally to slide the delivery roller together with the oscillating
arm in the horizontal direction.
④ Attach a new deliver roller in reverse order.

Take care not to stain the deliver roller rubber with grease or other material.

When tightening the setscrew of the
delivery roller, fix the hexagonal head of
the delivery roller shaft and tighten it.

Fix the rewinding spring so that the irregularly
shaped hook of the spring can be attached on
the delivery roller rubber side.
