3.3 Where to Clean
1) Cleaning the upper cover shutter
Clean the slit section with IPA to remove adhesive substances and any other stains.
Remove stains from the edge, groove and sliding surfaces of the shutter.
Note: Grease is applied to the shutter pin section. Take care not to remove
grease with IPA.

2) Cleaning the tape guide
Wipe off debris generated when the carrier tapes slides.
3) Cleaning each roller
Wipe and remove stains such as adhesive substances stuck to the deliver roller
rubber, the retaining roller and the outer circumferences of guide roller.
If any roller moves heavily, an adhesive substance may be caught inside the inner
circumference of the roller. Use an air gun or similar device to remove it.

If a foreign substance is stuck to any of the parts described above, use an air gun
or similar device to remove it.
To remove stains, use a waste rug or cotton-tipped swab moistened with alcohol to
clean them.
CAUTION
Never apply grease to the outer circumference of each roller.
Do not use an air gun to clean the center of the delivery roller rubber
axis (one-way clutch section).
When you use an air gun to blow off dust or stains, take care so that
any oil mist (oil misted and mixed with air when blown) cannot be
stuck to any part of the tape feeder.
It may stain a part(s) of the tape feeder or cause a cover tape ejecting
failure.
