      If the blue status light on your Juwel HeliaLux SmartControl lights up continuously, the IP address may no longer be valid, or your router has assigned a new one. To resolve this, switch your HeliaLux SmartControl to AP mode (see 'Switching from home network to Access Point Mode') and establish a new connection to your home network (see 'Connecting to the home network').

      If your Juwel HeliaLux SmartControl isn't working after a firmware update, it's possible the connections were interrupted during the update. Try resetting the HeliaLux SmartControl to factory settings. If that doesn't work, contact JUWEL customer service.

      If you can't launch the HeliaLux SmartControl user interface and the blue status lamp on the SmartControl flashes continuously, start the HeliaLux SmartControl on the device in Access Point Mode. To do so, press the 'Reboot' button once and the 'Mode' button once. Now connect with your controller in Access Point Mode. Please refer to ‘Establishing a connection to the user interface using Access Point Mode’ to this end. Check your network settings as described in the 'Establishing a connection to home networks' menu item.

      If you see a 'page could not be loaded' message after entering the HeliaLux SmartControl's IP address in your browser, you might have entered the wrong IP address or name. Double-check the IP address. The default is: 192.168.4.1 alternatively: “http://local.HLSmartControl“ (assuming your router supports name resolution).

      If no status lamps light up on your Juwel Control Unit, the power supply may be interrupted. Check that the switch on the cable to the power supply unit is on and verify the plug socket is working, using another device.

      If you can't establish a connection to the wireless home network (Wi-Fi) with your Juwel Control Unit, the Wi-Fi function on your router may be disabled. Enable Wi-Fi on your router. Ideally, a connection to the Internet should be established.
