6.5๎๎Using๎Program๎Status๎Keycards๎
๎
Program๎Status๎Change๎keycards๎are๎used๎to๎make๎changes๎in๎the๎lockโs๎status.๎To๎effect๎these๎changes,๎the๎
Program๎Status๎Change๎keycards๎must๎be๎programmed๎into๎the๎lock๎with๎a๎Primary๎Program๎keycard๎(PPK).๎๎
๎
The๎program๎changes๎that๎can๎be๎made๎with๎the๎Program๎Status๎Change๎keycards๎include:๎
๎
1. LED๎Diagnostics๎Keycard๎โ๎Used๎to๎turn๎on๎LED๎Diagnostics๎to๎determine๎why๎a๎keycard๎is๎not๎
working๎in๎a๎lock.๎Refer๎to๎Section๎6๎for๎instructions๎on๎using๎the๎LED๎Diagnostics.๎
๎
2. E2๎Disable/Enable๎Keycard๎โ๎Used๎to๎disable๎or๎enable๎the๎E2๎area๎of๎the๎lock๎circuit๎board.๎A๎
lock๎can๎only๎be๎disabled๎if๎it๎is๎working๎properly.๎When๎the๎E2๎is๎disabled,๎no๎keycards๎will๎
operate๎the๎lock,๎the๎lock๎cannot๎be๎reโprogrammed๎until๎the๎E2๎is๎enabled.๎All๎keycards๎will๎
cause๎the๎lock๎to๎display๎Mode๎4๎lights๎(two๎red๎flashes,๎then๎all๎lights๎flash๎4๎times)๎to๎indicate๎
that๎the๎lock๎is๎disabled.๎

To๎Disable๎a๎Lockโs๎E2:๎
๎
A. Use๎the๎PPK๎to๎obtain๎a๎slow๎flashing๎yellow๎light.๎The๎PPK๎must๎have๎authorization.๎
๎๎
B. While๎the๎yellow๎light๎is๎flashing,๎use๎the๎E2๎Disable/Enable๎key.๎You๎should๎see๎two๎
flashes๎of๎green๎and๎yellow๎lights,๎then๎a๎red๎flash.๎
๎
C. If๎the๎proper๎lights๎do๎not๎appear,๎the๎E2๎has๎not๎been๎disabled.๎In๎most๎cases,๎you๎will๎
see๎two๎yellow๎and๎red๎flashes๎because๎the๎PPK๎did๎not๎have๎authorization.๎
๎
To๎Enable๎a๎Lockโs๎E2:๎
๎
A. Use๎the๎PPK๎to๎get๎Mode๎4๎lights,๎followed๎by๎a๎slow๎flashing๎yellow๎light.๎The๎PPK๎must๎
have๎authorization.๎
๎
B. While๎the๎yellow๎light๎is๎flashing,๎use๎the๎E2๎Disable/Enable๎key.๎You๎should๎see๎two๎
flashes๎of๎the๎green๎and๎yellow๎lights,๎followed๎by๎a๎green๎flash.๎
๎
C. If๎the๎proper๎lights๎do๎not๎appear,๎the๎E2๎has๎not๎been๎enabled.๎In๎most๎cases,๎you๎will๎
see๎two๎yellow๎and๎red๎flashes๎because๎the๎PPK๎did๎not๎have๎authorization.๎

3. E2๎Erase๎Keycard๎โ๎Used๎to๎erase๎all๎of๎the๎information๎in๎the๎lock.๎When๎a๎lock๎is๎erased,๎all๎of๎
the๎programming๎and๎interrogation๎information๎will๎be๎lost.๎The๎lock๎will๎then๎be๎initialized๎
(Mode๎1)๎and๎ready๎for๎programming๎again.๎A๎lock๎cannot๎be๎erased๎if๎the๎E2๎is๎disabled๎(Mode๎
4).๎Refer๎to๎the๎Lock๎Installation๎Manual๎for๎additional๎details๎on๎using๎the๎E2๎Erase๎Keycard.๎

To๎Erase๎a๎Lock:๎๎
๎
A. Use๎the๎PPK๎key๎to๎get๎a๎slow๎flashing๎yellow๎light.๎The๎PPK๎key๎must๎have๎
authorization.๎If๎the๎lock๎is๎not๎working๎properly,๎you๎may๎see๎Mode๎3๎lights๎before๎the๎
flashing๎yellow๎light.๎

B. While๎the๎yellow๎light๎is๎flashing,๎use๎the๎E2๎Erase๎Keycard.๎The๎green๎and๎yellow๎lights๎
will๎flash๎two๎times,๎followed๎by๎a๎yellow๎flash.๎
