6.5UsingProgramStatusKeycards

ProgramStatusChangekeycardsareusedtomakechangesinthelock’sstatus.Toeffectthesechanges,the
ProgramStatusChangekeycardsmustbeprogrammedintothelockwithaPrimaryProgramkeycard(PPK).

TheprogramchangesthatcanbemadewiththeProgramStatusChangekeycardsinclude:

1. LEDDiagnosticsKeycard–UsedtoturnonLEDDiagnosticstodeterminewhyakeycardisnot
workinginalock.RefertoSection6forinstructionsonusingtheLEDDiagnostics.

2. E2Disable/EnableKeycard–UsedtodisableorenabletheE2areaofthelockcircuitboard.A
lockcanonlybedisabledifitisworkingproperly.WhentheE2isdisabled,nokeycardswill
operatethelock,thelockcannotbere‐programmeduntiltheE2isenabled.Allkeycardswill
causethelocktodisplayMode4lights(tworedflashes,thenalllightsflash4times)toindicate
thatthelockisdisabled.

ToDisableaLock’sE2:

A. UsethePPKtoobtainaslowflashingyellowlight.ThePPKmusthaveauthorization.

B. Whiletheyellowlightisflashing,usetheE2Disable/Enablekey.Youshouldseetwo
flashesofgreenandyellowlights,thenaredflash.

C. Iftheproperlightsdonotappear,theE2hasnotbeendisabled.Inmostcases,youwill
seetwoyellowandredflashesbecausethePPKdidnothaveauthorization.

ToEnableaLock’sE2:

A. UsethePPKtogetMode4lights,followedbyaslowflashingyellowlight.ThePPKmust
haveauthorization.

B. Whiletheyellowlightisflashing,usetheE2Disable/Enablekey.Youshouldseetwo
flashesofthegreenandyellowlights,followedbyagreenflash.

C. Iftheproperlightsdonotappear,theE2hasnotbeenenabled.Inmostcases,youwill
seetwoyellowandredflashesbecausethePPKdidnothaveauthorization.

3. E2EraseKeycard–Usedtoerasealloftheinformationinthelock.Whenalockiserased,allof
theprogrammingandinterrogationinformationwillbelost.Thelockwillthenbeinitialized
(Mode1)andreadyforprogrammingagain.AlockcannotbeerasediftheE2isdisabled(Mode
4).RefertotheLockInstallationManualforadditionaldetailsonusingtheE2EraseKeycard.

ToEraseaLock:

A. UsethePPKkeytogetaslowflashingyellowlight.ThePPKkeymusthave
authorization.Ifthelockisnotworkingproperly,youmayseeMode3lightsbeforethe
flashingyellowlight.

B. Whiletheyellowlightisflashing,usetheE2EraseKeycard.Thegreenandyellowlights
willflashtwotimes,followedbyayellowflash.

