A 5 Mounting and connection
Install the dust extraction system in the
selected location.
Remove the transport fixings for the elec-
tronic module as well as the suction divert-
er module at the rear of the unit.
For installation in a dental laboratory in
combination with a KaVo EWL worksta-
tion, put the extraction system under or
beneath the workstation.
Do not screw the dust collector to the
bench top or at the side in the area of oper-
ation, but only slide it in. Here, the dust
collector is fixed to the work top by clamp-
ing it with the levelling screws.
When the dust collector is covered by the
work bench, the height of the dust collector
must be adjusted. Secure support panel
with 4 screws and if necessary fix it with
bench-top clamps to the workplace bench
top. Place the bench cover in position and
snap it in place. Fit the edge strip and fill
the gap with silicone.
When carrying out installation in the area
of operation, remove the rear panel on the
left or right at the adjacent cabinet element,
so that the rear side of the dust collector is
accessible for carrying out electrical wiring.
Also connect the suction hoses before
pushing the dust collector right in.
If drainage pipes are surface-mounted in
the vacant space of the installation, the suc-
tion route switching modul Í must be
placed to the left or right of the dust collec-
tor or in the adjacent base element.
