A 5 Installation and Connection
A 5.1 Installation
The following are authorized to
repair and service the KaVo
ELECTROtorque :
• the engineers of KaVo agents through-
out the world
• the engineers of authorised KaVo dealers
who have been specially trained by KaVo
• independent engineers specially trained
by KaVo.
Location at the dentist unit:
Place the ELECTROtorque 4890 in the
intended location (see also A 4.1).
Remove previously used turbine or
pneumatic motor from tube and connect
turbine tube or pneumatic motor tube
connection 4 to four-hole connector 3 at
the back of the ELECTROtorque 4890.
Location at transformer:
Connect the ELECTROtorque 4890 to the
intended transformer 5 via screw
connection 2.
Factory settings for the transformer is
230 V.
A 5.2 Voltage adaptation to
Transformer 1.001.8749
By removing the fuse holder 7
out of the letting modul 8 ,the bridge 6
can be removed.
Replace the bridge that way, that the
relected voltage (115 or 230 V) can be
read.
Finally please replase the fuse holder 7
into the setting modul 8.
