ELECTROtorque 4890/K200.
C•The EEPROM (memory for calibration
values) is faulty.
R•By pressing the "UP“ key 6, the error is
bypassed and it is possible to continue
working for a short time with the
standard factory values.
However, if the error message is
displayed again, the control circuit
board must be replaced.
C•The temperature sensor is faulty, or sen-
sor or supply cables have a short-circuit.
R•Switch the ELECTROtorque 4890
off/on several times. If error message
F 5 persists, the control circuit board
must be replaced.
C•As a result of working for a long period
under a very high load, the temperature
at the cooling element has exceeded
the maximum acceptable value
(90°C/194°F).
R•Stop working until the temperature at the
cooling element falls below 90°C/194°F.
After the value has fallen below the
limit, the ELECTROtorque 4890 auto-
matically switches back to the ready
mode.
C•The program memory is faulty.
R•Switch the ELECTROtorque 4890
off/on several times. If error message
F 7 persists, the control circuit board
must be replaced.

F• Error message: F 7
When the ELECTROtorque 4890 is
switched on, the program memory is
tested. If the checksum comparison is
negative, this error is displayed.
F• Error message: F 6
The temperature measured at the coo-
ling element is too high.
F• Error message: F 5
The temperature sensor on the cooling
element reports unacceptable values.
F• Error message: F 4
Calibration values and control parame-
ters important for operation are no lon-
ger legible.
