Substances remaining in the dosing head are not contamination, but rather agents
that are deposited there during extended periods of non-use after condensation of
the water. These deposits redissolve after several dosing processes.
3.2 Checking the oxygenal concentration
▶ Fill the tumbler with water.
▶ Use Merckoquant peroxide test strips 100 through 1000 mg/l H
2
O
2
(Merck article
number: 1100337) to determine the oxygenal concentration in the water disin‐
fection system.
The oxygenal concentration in normal operation should be between 150 and 250
mg/l H
2
O
2
.
