COLD BOOT AND WARM BOOT
Cold boot and warm boot are computer slang for two processes which are also
called cold start and warm start.
COLD BOOT: This is the process which starts the computer when you turn it on.
When you see the A0> prompt on the screen, the
cold boot has been accom-
plished,
and the computer is ready for a program to be implemented.
Pressing the reset button while the computer is on also accomplishes a cold
boot.
