Kaypro 10 - INDICATOR LIGHTS

STARTING YOUR KAYPRO 10
1. Turn on the computer, using the power switch on the back panel. Wait 15-20
seconds while the hard disk within the computer rotates up to speed.
If you receive an error message at the bottom of your screen, leave the
computer on and let it warm up for 5 minutes, then press the reset button
on the back panel. (Look in the index under System Status Messages for
additional information.)
The disk unit runs with the read/write head close to the disk at all times.
When the computer is not "busy", the head is moved into a safety zone on
the disk, and the red
light on the right goes off.
2. Wait for the ready light on the right to go off.
