Your KAYPRO 10
computer uses the CP/M (Control Program Monitor) operating
system. Three important components of CP/M are:
BDOS, the Basic Disk Operating system , which handles user areas and files on
diskettes ;
BIOS, the Basic Input/Output Sytem, which communicates with printers and
other peripheral devices; and
CCP, the Console Command Program, which communicates between you, the
user at the keyboard, and the internal processing of the computer.
