Kaypro 10 - Turning off Your Kaypro 10

TURNING OFF YOUR KAYPRO 10
When the 10 MB READY light is off, the read-write head is in the safety zone. An
additional safeguard is provided which will move the read-write head into a
safety zone when you turn off the KAYPRO 10. To do this:
1. If the B > or C >prompt is displayed, type: A:
Press RETURN.
2. At the A > prompt, type: safety
Press RETURN.
3. The 10 MB READY light will go off, and a prompt will appear, indicating it is
safe to turn off the machine. Turn off the power, using the ON/OFF switch
on the back panel.
