TURNING OFF YOUR KAYPRO 10
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE HEAD FOR THE HARD DISK BE IN THE SAFETY
ZONE BEFORE TURNING OFF THE KAYPRO 10.
This is easy to do.
1. If the B > prompt is displayed, type: A:
Press RETURN.
2. At the A > prompt, type: safety
Press RETURN.
3. When the prompt indicates it is safe to turn off the machine, turn off the
power , using the ON/OFF switch on the back panel.
Practice this now.
Put a reminder on the front of your KAYPRO 10 to always, before turning if off ,
type: safety
