ENGINE COMPRESSION TEST
Procedure
NOTE: Perform initially on cold engine, then bring engine to operating temperature and
repeat. Compare results.
Disable ignition (via the vehicle kill switch), remove the spark plug, and connect
compression tester.
REQUIRES SPECIAL TOOL T05
Disconnect vacuum line from fuel petcock valve.
Open Throttle completely and crank for 6-8 revolutions.
Record data and repeat procedure 3 times, and take the average of total.
