Precautions on battery
•Puttheremotecontrolinaplacewhereitwill

Protecting the monitor
Toprotectthemonitorfromdamage,donot
operatethemonitorusingaballpointpenor
similartoolwiththesharptip.
Lens fogging
Whenyouturnonthecarheaterincold
weather,deworcondensationmayformon
thelensinthediscplayeroftheunit.Called
lensfogging,thiscondensationonthelens
maynotallowdiscstoplay.Insuchasituation,
removethediscandwaitforthecondensation
toevaporate.Iftheunitstilldoesnotoperate
normallyafterawhile,consultyourKenwood
dealer.
Precautions on handling discs
•Donottouchtherecordingsurfaceofthedisc.
•Donotsticktapeetc.onthedisc,oruseadisc
withtapestuckonit.
•Donotusedisctypeaccessories.
•Cleanfromthecenterofthediscandmove
outward.
•Whenremovingdiscsfromthisunit,pullthem
outhorizontally.
•Ifthedisccenterholeoroutsiderimhasburrs,
usethedisconlyafterremovingtheburrswith
aballpointpenetc.
•Discsthatarenotroundcannotbeused.
•8-cm(3inch)discscannotbeused.
