Separate the test fixture as shown in Figure 3-2.

Cleaning and Drying the Electrodes
To get a better measurement, the 16452A electrodes must be cleaned after
using. If the 16452A’s electrodes are smeared, wash and dry them thoroughly
before assembling. Any impurities deposited on the electrode will affect the
measurement.
Do not use a detergent that corrodes the test fixture. For a list of the
materials that are corrosive to the test fixtures, see Appendix A.
