Liquid Capacitance and Resistance (Cp, Rp) Measurement
2. Measure the capacitance and equivalent parallel resistance value (C
p
, R
p
) of
the liquid under test and record the measurement data. The data is used to
calculate the dielectric parameter.
When you use the 16452A in a thermostatic chamber or an oil tank, see the
“Performing Temperature Measurements” on page 36 procedure.
DO NOT apply a dc test signal to the 16452A. The dc signal can cause
electrolysis of the liquid.
