3 Miscellaneous tasks on the S5040A Appliance
Firmware Updates
After the system boots up, if the S5040A Appliance detects that a firmware
update is required, you will see a dialog like the following:

At this point, click the Update Firmware button to start the firmware
update process.
This process takes 10-20 seconds to complete.
Your computer should not be shutdown or lose power during a firmware
update. This may corrupt the firmware on the Appliance, requiring a
special process to recover the firmware.
