Error conditions
A record of up to 20 errors can be stored in the U2722A/U2723A's error queue.
Refer to the programming guide for more information on the error messages.
Keysight Measurement Manager operation
A message box will appear once an error occurs while operating the U2722A/
U2723A using the Keysight Measurement Manager.
SCPI commands for system-related tasks
The following examples show the SCPI commands for performing certain
system-related tasks.
Example 3, Performing system-related tasks
→ *CLS; *RST Resets the source to the default
power-on state. This command can be
ignored if this operation is not required.
→ *TST? Executes the self-test.
← +0 Returns a +0 if the test pass, else it
returns other numbers in correspond
with the failure (refer to “Appendix A:
List of Self-Test Return Codes” on
page 66).
→ *CAL? Executes the self-calibration.
← +0 Returns a +0 if the test pass, else it
returns a +1 if it fails.
→ SYST:ERR? Returns the error number and its
corresponding message string from the
error queue.
← +0, "No Error"
