sion, the description of each function of
the driver assistance system may differ
from the owner's manual.
Forward Collision-Avoidance
Assist (FCA) (Front Camera
Only) (if equipped)
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
detects a vehicle, a pedestrian, or a
cyclist ahead on the road and may warn
you of a possible collision with a warning
message on the instrument cluster and a
warning sound. Also, Forward Collision-
Avoidance Assist may assist with brak
-
ing your vehicle to help reduce collision
speed or avoid a collision.

CAUTION
僅 Never disassemble the detecting sen -
sor or sensor assembly, or cause any
damage to it.
僅 If the detecting sensors have been
replaced or repaired, have the vehicle
inspected by a professional workshop.

僅 Never install any accessories or stick

ers on the front windscreen, or tint the
front windscreen.
僅 Pay extreme caution to keep the front
view camera dry.
僅 Never place any reflective objects (for
example, white paper, mirror) over the
dashboard.
僅 Do not place any objects near the
front windscreen or install any acces

sories on the front windscreen. It can
affect the performance of the defog
-
ging and defrosting function of the cli -
mate control system, which may
prevent the Driver Assistance systems
from operating.
