11. Remove cartridge plug
12. Add cleaning agent
13. Install RO membrane
WARNING: Handle plug with care
when removing. May contain
chemical solution.
Pour one package of cleaning agent into
dry cartridge plug – install plug into
cartridge prefilter position.
Cleaning Agent: Chlorine dioxide tablet
(crush tablet while still in packet) or
granules
14. Slowly open feed valve
16. Open jack screw completely
17. Open faucet
Warning: Watch for spray.
15. Wait 2 minutes
18. Wait for flow to drop off. Close
feed and allow system to
depressurize.
19. Remove prefilter, post filter and auxiliary
(if necessary) cartridge plugs
Leave faucet open.
20. Install all remaining cartridges. (Cartridges must
already be prepared according to their installation
instructions.) Use cartridge plug for any unused
auxiliary port.
21. Slowly open feed port.
22. Wait for a steady permeate flow at
the faucet, then close. Remove
anti- spray line.
23. Inform customer to discard first
two tanks of water.
