Sensors of the Klecard
The drawer contains a trayflex pcb on which there are placed three sensors:
1 - Plate sensor
2 - Media sensor
3 - Ribbon sensor
Because the Klecard printer works with more plates and more consumables, the
plate sensor detects the presence of the plate on the tray. This feature allows using
many different types of tags and labels.
After placing the plate, you need to place the media on it. The plates have a hole
which is obscured by media.
When the Klecard detect the media, it turns in the Ready status and it can operate
and print.
TPH Temperature sensor
There is also another important sensor in the printer, which detects the temperature
in the room where the printer is installed.
To prevent damage to the printhead and to other components inside the electronics
the Klecard should operate in the range of +15°C and 50°C.
Extra limit conditions of +5°C and +57°C are accepted. If the temperature room is
too cold or too warm, the Klecard will not operate and a message will appear on
the display. When temperature levels will get back to the accepted range, the printer
will operate again.
