The leveler chain adjusts from the back of the chain. The left side adjustment is more
involved than the right side because of the hydraulic motor. On the left side, start by loosen-
ing the bolts in the hydraulic motor mount and the bearing mount. Then screw the setscrew
which pushes against the bearing mount until the chain is properly tensioned. On the right
side, the bearing mount bolts is all that is required to be loosen before the adjustment can be
made. After tensioning both sides equally tighten all bolts. Proper tension for the leveler
chain is 1-1/2 to 2 inches of movement above the slide on the top chain.
