Includes a LASER DIODE that provides the red laser light used to
scan the SCREEN. The GALVO BOARD A4 controls the operation of
the LASER DIODE DRIVER BOARD A17 by sending and receiving
signals through the LASER DRIVER PRE-REGULATOR BOARD

PRE-REGULATOR -
A18
Controls the power provided to the LASER and has 3 modes of
operation:
• Threshold” - supplies minimum power when the LASER is moving
to the start of the next line - retrace
• “Scan” - supplies full power to the LASER during scanning
• “Full-on” - used for diagnostics
