2. Disconnectthe22-pinharnessconnectorfromthe
stationary connector at the back of the controller.

3. Remove the plug caps from the ends of the
bumper studs within the controller. Remove the
nutssecuringthecontrollertothebumpersusinga
1/2-inch wrench or nut driver. See Figure 8-3.

4. Remove any external connections to terminals
labeledGND,ST1,ST2,and BATonthecontroller
chassis. Also disconnect and remove leads from
terminalslabeled C0, C1,and C2on thecontroller
chassis. See Figure 8-4.

5. Remove the slotted screw and disconnect the
ground strap from the controller. See Figure 8-5.
