Test
u Run engine at a higher load than 1/3 of its nominal power until temperature reaches steady
state. All parameters must remain within expected range (no alarm).
u Monitor the running engine and the generator set display.
u Record and report any defect found on the engine (for example: leak, unusual noise, unusual
vibration, unusual exhaust gas color).
u Record and report any anomaly found on generator set display (for example: faulty param‐
eter).
u Make sure that authorized service personnel correct the defect.
